Background

Limerick Chamber is one of the five oldest Chambers of Commerce in Ireland and the UK representing over 450 member companies who span industry, trade, commerce, tourism and the professional services in the Mid West.

Reporting to the CEO

Working closely with the CEO and board of Limerick Chamber to set and drive the economic policy of the Limerick and greater Mid-West region. The role will include being a public spokesperson for the organisation dealing with National and local governments and the media in general.

Education

Minimum degree level in Economics preferably to Masters or PhD level.

Experience

Minimum of 5 years experience of a “hands on role” performing the economic analysis, preparing reports for a range of stakeholders, presenting to key stakeholders and dealing with policy related issues on behalf of the members.

Relevant experience gained within a management/economic consultancy is particularly desirable.
